SOME LIKE IT HOT: Masri titbits in demand at their main outlet
SEKINCHAN,SABAK BERNAM : If you are in Sekinchan here, you may want to drop by the MHP Enterprise shop that has garnered an impressive reputation for producing and selling 20 different traditional Malaysian snacks under their Masri brand.
The business began in 1990 by Haji Punari @ Zainuddin Salleh, 59, and wife Mastura, and over the past two decades, they also distributed their products at farmer's markets all over Selangor.
The company, now managed by the couple's eldest daughter, Musleha, employs 20 at their factory and part-timers who are secondary school and university students.
MHP Enterprise produces traditional snacks all year long, and caters for weddings and government functions, as well as package snacks as gift hampers for the corporate sector.
Of all the snacks, the top-seller is the hot bahulu, baked fresh at their main outlet here.
